About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Azure cloud infrastructure, automation, and secure CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will work closely with distributed development teams to build scalable, reliable, and well-monitored systems across Azure and edge environments. This role also includes managing Ubuntu-based hosts, administering relational, time-series, and NoSQL databases at the infrastructure level, and ensuring security, backup, and performance of the underlying systems through automated workflows and best DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Azure environments (VMs, Kubernetes clusters, VNets, and Storage)
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent tools
Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines for ROS2, Python, and C++ projects
Configure and maintain RADIUS, VLANs, and VPNs for secure developer and device connectivity
Manage Ubuntu hosts, ensuring availability, performance, and security across environments
Administer RDBMS, time-series, and NoSQL databases at the infrastructure level, including RBAC, backup/restore, and scaling through automated tools or platform services
Maintain monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
Support remote developers with CI/CD, environment setup, and automation troubleshooting.
Requirements
Proven experience (min. 5+ years) with Azure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation tools
Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent
Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux/Ubuntu system administration for build and deployment environments
Experience managing RDBMS, time-series, and NoSQL databases at the infrastructure level, including RBAC, backup/restore, and scaling
Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor
An articulate English (due to asynchronous communication with a global, English-speaking team)
A home office with fast and stable internet connection (15Mb/s), modern laptop/PC, noise-cancelling headset and access to a quiet workspace
